英文摘要
This project is a continuation of a collaboration between the Elias Research Group at the University of Alberta**and C-Therm Technologies Ltd., started through an NSERC Engage Grant. C-Therm is a Canadian company**which designs, manufactures, and distributes thermal analysis equipment. Over the past 5 months the Elias lab**has been developing a fabrication protocol to engineer flexible sensors for thermal analysis. The design of these**devices was proposed by C-Therm utilizing simulation methods. The Elias group has been working to**implement this design using microfabrication techniques. The development of this process has included**numerous materials challenges. In the proposed project extension, we will implement a new generation of**device design, and continue to address challenges surrounding each of the materials that comprise the device.**Prototypes will be fabricated as designed and their performance characterized.
