In a previous project we have developed several assessments tools able to determine which emotion is generated by a specific part of a game. Since video games generate a lot of emotions and motivation, they also stimulate concentration, engagement, and learning. While these emotions can be positive (satisfaction, pleasure, motivation), they can also be negative (stress, fear, disgust, boredom), resulting in sleeping trouble, lack of concentration or hyperactivity, and reduction of cognitive and memory functions.****In the present project we want to investigate which emotions intervene in interactive Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality game environments, and which of them lead to reduction of attention and cognitive abilities. Then we intend to use artificial intelligence techniques to classify and predict behaviors of users in immersive interactive environments. As well, we intend to set up strategies, driven by neuro-feedback agents, to induce positive emotions and increase motivation, conviction, and cognitive abilities. ****To test this approach we will develop several Intelligent Cognitive Control Systems (ICCS) for reducing negative emotions and increasing cognitive abilities. We will validate the approach on a variety of cognitive cases such as Alzheimer patients and hyperactive learners. We will also consider users involved in controversial discussions or cooperative decisions likely to produce emotions resulting from different opinions or situations. **Finally we will to develop ICCS to detect and predict the interest and emotional feelings of groups of people attending an artistic performance delivered into a show, a music playlist, or advertisements.****
