Hydromantis is the global leader in water and wastewater treatment simulation technology and modelling**services and the developer of the most popular software solutions for the industry. The company provides**expert modelling services for wastewater treatment plant design, commissioning, operational performance, and**planning improvements. Hydromantis' advanced process modelling has been proven to greatly reduce the**uncertainty associated with critical wastewater design and operational decisions and sets the world standard in**wastewater treatment optimization. Hydromantis develops detailed first principles models for treatment**processes. However, Hydromantis currently faces two key challenges- 1) How to make the modeling procedure**less onerous (expensive) and readily adaptable to various treatment sites and 2) How to reduce the complexity**of the model so it becomes more amenable to optimization, resulting in improved cost savings. The proposed**research will develop a tool that addresses these challenges.
