Flexible wing aircraft are gaining increasing attention as efficient unmanned aerial vehicle products due to their low operating costs and their remarkable inherited operation features. Romaeris Corporation is a leading company concerned with commercializing this type of aircraft as reliable autonomous systems capable of providing competitive features to other unmanned aerial vehicles. The control architecture for this aircraft is among the challenging tasks that need to be addressed within the company's technical strategic plans. This urged for innovative ideas from machine learning theories to develop cooperative control algorithms for this class of systems. The objectives of the company are summarized as follows; First, customizing the ability of dedicated intelligent controllers to enhance the overall system's performance. Second, optimize the overall energy efficiency or consumption in the system by optimizing the controllers' performance. Third, develop an intelligent supervisory system that is able to coordinate among these objectives during different flight conditions.
