CAE-Healthcare is continuously seeking ways to improve simulation-based learning. In this project, we explore how natural language processing and machine learning techniques can be leveraged for knowledge mining from medical scenarios. In particular, the objective is a) to develop a knowledge base that acts as a backend for medical question answering and b) to automatically identify elements from medical scenarios such as symptoms and emotions that are used to populate the knowledge base.****
