英文摘要
The overall objective is to develop network architectures along with protocols, algorithms and network control mechanisms for sensors/actuators interacting via different types of wireless networks. There are 12 short-term objectives and 3 long-term objectives that constitute the research components that address the overall project goal. Major planned accomplishments are to develop expertise in wireless technology by providing a continuous source of highly qualified personnel to Canadian industry and society and to contribute to the development and use of scalable and modular wireless heterogeneous sensor networks and selected applications for the Internet of Things in the e-Society.
