Particle physics seeks to describe the physical world at its deepest microscopic level. Precise theoretical calculations play an important role in advancing knowledge, through detailed comparison with the scattering experiments conducted notably at the Large Hadron Collider, in Geneva, Switzerland. The main objective of this proposal is to develop new on-shell methods which will enable the next generation of precision calculations, building on recent revolutionary advances which emphasize physical building blocks that are as close as possible to the underlying physics. This will extend the precision and reach of theoretical predictions, and lead to a deeper understanding of particle physics.
