Research objective of this work is to design, develop and implement a secure and privacy preserving, user centric approach based authentication framework for the banking sector by incorporating face recognition biometric systems together with the features of zero knowledge proof and blind signatures. The proposed research work is based on user's face recognition and will make the user authentication, from user's own handheld device to the online financial organization services, without conveying any information about the biometric other than that the face biometric is true.
Our work novelty comes from incorporating two advanced technologies, AI based facial recognition and cryptographic measures together to enhance security and privacy. Simultaneously, all the communication process in the system is secured via cryptographic measures, blind signatures and zero knowledge proof that makes an adversary probability to eavesdrop the system at most negligible. The plan is to bring a revolutionary change in the financial sector where users can use only their biometric to access their accounts. Implementation of the proposed system will provide the safe and seamless operations and reduce the complexity of end users and financial organizations. We are confident that this research can positively impact Organizations and will lead to a pivotal role in controlling and preventing cyber attacks.
