英文摘要
More then ever, energy efficiency is crucial for our development. The environmental concern of the population is encouraging everyone to increase the energy performance of all kinds of systems. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), there is a potential for energy saving of 60% compared to current situation in the building sector and of 70% in the industrial sector. Currently, one can say that there is a "tension" between different trends in energy efficiency. On the one hand, in order to achieve the potential energy savings mentioned above, many believe that advances in big data, artificial intelligence and automation are to way to go. At the same time, others are trying to take advantage or to better account for the role of "humans" (users, designers, operators, etc.). Enhancing the energy performance of buildings is the central topic of the present proposal and the specific color of the proposal is the reconciliation of "human factors" and "artificial intelligence" in a broad sense. In the first theme, we want to develop new design methods. Three tasks are proposed under this theme. First, we will explore the potential of automation of modeling of HVAC systems to facilitate the recourse to better models by designers. Then, we will develop a framework for finding acceptable solutions from multi-objective optimization in a real design process. This includes co-design activities when more then one person is involved. Finally, the inclusion of occupant behavior in the design process will be explored through different approaches. The second theme of the proposal is the elaboration of new building systems. There are also three sub-tasks under that theme. First, we will explore the potential of prefabrication of large HVAC systems. Second, a reflection on domestic hot water system will be carried to reduce their energy consumption. Finally, a virtual working fluid will be defined to design more easily thermodynamic cycles. In the end, the program will contribute to reduce the energy consumption of our buildings-.
