全新世太湖南北两翼通海大型古河谷的地貌演化及充填过程对现代长江三角洲地貌格局的形成扮演了重要的作用,深刻影响了三角洲地区全新世中期以来的古文明发展进程。.本申请课题拟对太湖南北两翼滆湖、太湖两处古河谷开展沉积物钻孔取芯。基于沉积学、年代学和古环境代用指标的分析,建立潮滩沉积相与海平面相对位置的转换关系,试图恢复两个河谷全新世以来相对海平面波动及其影响下的沉积层序演化和古环境变迁。挖掘太湖流域众多新石器文化遗址的人类活动信息,了解不同时期遗址的时空分布规律以及人类生活方式;然后开展代表性遗址周边的钻探取芯,通过孢粉、炭屑、植硅体等多种代用指标分析,提取河谷充填前后下垫面环境变化以及人类活动信息。最后,综合讨论人类活动与气候变化、海平面波动以及湿地演化的可能联系和响应机制。
英文摘要
The geomorphological evolution and filling process of the large paleo valleys in the north and south flank of the Taihu Lake played an important role in the formation of the Yangtze River Delta, and profoundly affected the development of Neolithic cultures in the delta region since the mid-Holocene..The present proposal intends to comply a systematic research in the paleo Gehu valley and paleo Taihu valley. On the basis of chronological, sedimentological and multi-proxy environmental analysis, we are trying to reveal the relative sea-level fluctuations, the sedimentary sequences and the environmental changes of the tributary valley systems. Extract information on human activities of many Neolithic cultural sites in the Taihu Basin, and learn about the temporal and spatial distribution of sites and human lifestyles in different periods. Then, to take cores around the representative sites, and conduct various analysis such as pollen, charcoal and phytoliths to reveal the environmental changes of the underlying surface and human activities before and after the filling of paleo valleys. Finally, the possible linkages and response mechanisms between human activities and climate change, sea level fluctuations, and wetland evolution will be discussed.
