在“新零售”背景下,通过电商平台向商家共享物流资源以缩短交付提前期,提升消费者体验,是我国电商企业突破发展瓶颈的一条切实途径。然而,电商平台物流资源共享可能导致平台竞争力被削弱、而商家也无利可图不愿接受共享的结果。如何设计合理的物流资源共享机制,使平台和商家都获得帕累托改进,是我国电商当前面临的且迫切需要解决的问题。本项目以交付提前期为着眼点,以电商平台和平台上的商家为研究对象,考虑平台与商家之间的归属、竞争和供需关系,以量化交付提前期对顾客购物渠道选择行为的影响为切入点,从共享物流资源定价与承诺交付提前期决策、共享物流资源的调度和风险控制三方面研究使各参与方获得帕累托改进的电商平台物流资源共享机制。本项目将提出顾客交付提前期敏感性的衡量方法、共享资源定价与承诺交付提前期决策方法、以及共享资源调度与风险控制机制,并为现阶段我国电商平台企业和商家实现突破性发展提供方向性指导和决策支持。
英文摘要
In the current “New Retail” era, many E-commerce enterprises in China take part in logistics resource sharing among platforms and merchants, to shorten delivery lead time and thus improve consumers’ online shopping experience, which is a practical path for E-commerce enterprises to breakthrough the current bottleneck. However, the logistics resource sharing may encounter problems such as platforms’ competitiveness weakened, and merchants not willing to join. Therefore, how to design reasonable logistics resource sharing mechanisms to let platforms and merchants achieve Pareto improvement, is an urgent problem facing E-commerce enterprises. Focusing on the delivery lead time of E-commerce platform and merchants, and considering the three relationships between the platform and merchants (i.e. homing relationship, competition relationship, and supply and demand relationship), we in this project investigate the mechanisms for logistics resource sharing between E-commerce platform and merchants. Starting with quantifying the impacts of delivery lead time on customers’ behaviors, we investigate the mechanism for logistics resource sharing from three aspects, i.e. the pricing and promised delivery lead time decision making for the platform and merchants, the scheduling of shared resources, and the risk control for resource sharing. By this project, we are about to propose the methods of measuring customers’ sensitivities to delivery lead time, of pricing the shared resources and making promised delivery lead time decisions, and design the mechanisms for shared resource scheduling and risk control. Our project will provide directional guidance and decision support for the E-commerce platforms and merchants nowadays in China to breakthrough the current bottleneck.
