Development of the Route Choice Information System for Elderly and Handicapped Pedestrians

随着社会老龄化，“无障碍”一词开始被使用。当残疾人出发前往他们选择的目的地时，存在着各种各样的障碍。为了把它们移走，保证“行动自由”，有必要安排人行道和道路是连续的。然而，很难安排拆除现有城市中的所有障碍。这项研究的目的是开发一种提供信息的系统，使残疾人能够亲自判断到达目的地的路线。在此基础上，抓住当前存在的问题，探讨了通过信息提供制度改善壁垒的优先权确定制度的可能性。提供信息时的一项重要要求是便于根据需要纳入新数据，因此有必要系统化地提供信息。这一次，为了制作这个系统，执行了从信息收集到生产的一系列流程。由于思想的实现是重点，有些部分易于建模，因此在信息的收集、评价值的设置、程序的结构等方面都存在一些问题，但该系统可以逐步应用，通过每一步和整个系统的改进，使其具有很强的通用性。

Along with an aging society, the term "barrier free" has begun to be used. When disabled set out to reach their chosen destination, various kinds of barriers exist. In order to remove them and guarantee "freedom of movement", it is necessary to arrange for sidewalks and roads to be continuous. However, it is difficult to arrange for the removal of all barriers in an existing city. The purpose of this study is to develop the system of providing information which enables the disabled to judge the route to their destination in person. Furthermore, we grasp current problems and examine a possibility of the priority determination system of improvement of barriers by the system of providing information. An important requirement when providing information is facilitating incorporation of new data according to needs, so systemized provision of information becomes necessary. This time, for the purpose of making this system, a series of flows ranging from collecting of information to production was performed. Since realization of the idea was the main point and some parts were easily modeled, there are some problems such as collecting of information, set up of an evaluation value, the structure of the program, etc. However, this system can be gradually applied and made highly suitable for general purposes by improvement in each step and the whole system.
