Globalization and Transformation in the Social System of 'Art'--Toward a Construction of a Theory of Contemporary Art / Visual Culture

艺术在现代社会中被理解为一个“自治”的特殊系统。艺术的全球化带来了“全球艺术世界”，自20世纪80年代以来，艺术的全球化范围遍及亚洲国家、俄罗斯、原东欧国家和非洲国家。 尤其是在非西方领域出现的“双年展现象”，象征性地表现了这种全球化。但在经济全球化的引导下，在政治的支持下，艺术与经济、政治的边界在当下被消解在相互的望远镜系统中。因此，当代艺术在其表现方式或存在方式上，也证明了它的某种社会性，如政治性、交往性或经济性。

The art has been understood as an "autonomous" peculiar system in the modern society. The art brings about the "global art world" , which extends over Asian countries, Russia, the former east-Europe and African countries since 1980's. "Biennale phenomenon" , which proceeds especially in non-western sphere shows symbolically this globalization. But conducted by global economy and supported by politics, the boundary of art with economy and politics at present is dissolved in amutual telescope system. Consequently the art in recent days proves its some kind of social character, such as political, communicative or economic character, in its expression or existence manner.
