Global Environment Issues and Economic Interdependence among Japan-China-Korea Using Input-output and General Equilibrium Framework

温室气体减排问题与经济活动和能源消耗密切相关。我们从一般均衡框架的角度考察了日本、中国和韩国的这些问题。首先，本文构建了日本和中国的E3计量经济模型，对技术转移和碳税进行了模拟分析。在此基础上，结合韩国模式，对日本在华企业能效提升的经济影响进行了评估。其次，我们考察了东亚国家直接投资与宏观经济绩效之间的因果关系。采用调查统计和投入产出分析法对日本汽车企业的海外活动进行了评价。此外，我们还研究了中国农村地区民营企业生产率的区域差异。第三，我们对供水和环境问题进行了研究。利用动态最优模型，研究了森林保护公共投资对水质改善的成本分担问题。

Issues of GHG reduction are strongly related to the economic activities and energy consumption. We investigated these issues on Japan, China, and Korea from the point of general equilibrium framework.Firstly, we built an E3 econometric model linking Japan and China, and conducted simulation analysis on technology transfer and carbon tax. Then adding Korea model, we tried to evaluate economic impacts of the improving energy efficiency in the Japanese overseas firms in China.Secondly, we investigated the causal relation between direct investment and macro economic performance in East Asian countries. Overseas activities of Japanese automobile firms are evaluated by using survey statistics and input-output analysis.Furthermore, we investigated the regional difference in the productivity of private firms in the rural area, China.Thirdly, we conducted the research on water supply and environmental issues. Using dynamic optimal model, we investigated cost share issues on the public investment of forest preservation for improving water quality.
