Environment-Behavior Study on Physical Setting and Children's Development in Children's Nursing Home

本研究旨在从儿童成长的角度，探讨儿童安养院物理环境与儿童行为的关系。特别是对小规模制作和对包间制作的影响受到关注。对日本的所有机构进行了问卷调查，并对选定的5个机构进行了观察性研究。发现了机构空间意义随儿童发展而变化的模式。每个机构的物理环境和护理政策的一致性是重要的。

This study aims to clarify relationship between physical environment of children's nursing home and behavior of children who live there from the aspect of the children's development. Especially the influence that making to the small scale and making to the private room was paid to attention. The questionnaire survey was executed for all institutions in Japan, and the observational research was executed for five selected institutions. The model of change in the meaning of institution's spaces according to children's development was found. Various problems are included in making of pro forma small-scale. The correspondence of the physical environment and caring policy of in each institution is important.
