Construction of phytomonitoring systems for risk assessment of dioxins polluted environment.

二恶英的环境毒性正变得越来越严重，特别是在日本。用气相色谱-质谱仪对二恶英的污染水平进行了精确的定量分析；然而，这种技术的缺点是成本高或受过高等教育。本研究提出利用植物基因组中发现的二恶英响应基因建立二恶英生物检测系统，以探讨其在二恶英污染风险评估中的有效性。该生物检测系统有望很好地替代仪器分析作为环境中二恶英的第一步简易分析方法。

The environmental toxicity of dioxins is becoming more severe especially in Japan. The precise quantitative analysis of pollution levels of dioxins has been performed using a gas chromatograph-mass spectrometry ; however, this technique has the disadvantage of a high cost or a highly educated skill. In this study, the development of bioassay system for dioxins using dioxins-response genes found in the plant genome was proposed to investigate its efficiency for risk assessment of dioxins contamination. This bioassay system will be expected to be a good substitution for the instrumental analysis as the first step simple analysis method of dioxins in the environment.
