Change of the Government and the Transformation of Social Movements: How DPJ Change Social Movements?

2009年大选后上台的民主党政府允许左倾社会运动更多地参与政策制定过程。然而，执政的民主党在治理方面缺乏稳定性，导致它未能产生任何有意义的政策成果。成功的社会运动，如那些为修订NPO法律进行游说的人，选择了利用政党之间不断变化的权力关系，而不是直接与民主党政府接触。相比之下，右翼社会组织通过大力支持反对党自民党，获得了更大的政治话语权。因此，这导致自民党向更右翼倾斜。

The DPJ government, that came to power as a result of the 2009 general election, allowed left-leaning social movements greater access to policy-making process. However, the ruling DPJ's lack of stability in governance had it fail of producing any meaningful policy outputs. Successful social movements such as those who lobbied for the NPO law revision chose to utilize changing power relations among parties, instead of directly approaching the DPJ government. By contrast, right-wing social organizations came to gain bigger political voice by lending strong support to the opposition party, LDP. It, as a consequence, has led the LDP to lean toward more right.
