A Study on GHG Reduction of the International Marine Transportation in Consideration of the Supply Chain

2007年国际海上运输排放的二氧化碳为8.5亿吨，这一排放量对于德国、英国等一个国家的先进国家来说是巨大的。在本研究中，为了检验减少这一排放的方案，建立了一个模型，掌握整个供应链中的二氧化碳排放量。并利用该模型讨论了船舶扩建、减速等方案的减排效果。作为审查结果，减少海洋二氧化碳排放的计划清楚地表明，陆地运输等受到影响。也就是说，事实证明，供应链上的排放量会根据计划的条件而增加。

The carbon dioxide emitted from international marinetransportation is 850 million tons (2007), and this quantity is huge emission like aone-country advanced nation, such as Germany and the U.K. In this study, in order toexamine the plan for reducing this emission, the model which grasps the carbon-dioxideemissions in the whole supply chain was built. And the reduction effect of plans, such as anenlargement and a slowdown of a vessel, was discussed using this model. As results ofexamination, the plan for reduction of marine carbon dioxide emission showed clearly thatland transportation etc. are affected. That is, it turned out that the emission on a supplychain increases depending on conditions of the plan.
