Cultural anthropological research on dynamics of continuity and change among pastoral societies in post-socialist Mongolia

本研究旨在考察和分析后社会主义时期作为第二次大转型时期蒙古游牧社会的延续与变化动态。本文主要在蒙古Hentii地区的Moron sum进行了野外调查，收集了该地区的生存、市场经济和社会数据，并于2003年、2004年和2007年与前人的研究结果进行了比较。这一研究揭示了后社会主义时期牧区社会的总体变化。

This research is to investigate and analyze dynamics of continuity and change among pastoral societies in Mongolia under the post-socialism period as the second great transformation. I carried out fieldwork in pastoral societies mainly at Moron sum of Hentii aimag in Mongolia, collected data on subsistence, market economy, and society, and compared the data with the results of the previous studies at the sum in2003, 2004, and 2007. This research has revealed how the pastoral societies have changedat the sum under the post-socialism period.
