Development of an Operational Approach to Quantum Thermodynamics

本研究项目取得的成果分为两类。一个是阐明基于量子力学和热力学之间的结构相似/不同而构建的卡诺循环的量子力学模拟的物理性质。另一种方法是通过用非酉正量子操作来描述热力学过程，从而找到克劳修斯不等式可能受到挑战的新情况。

The results obtained in this research project are classified into two categories. One was to clarify the physical properties of the quantum-mechanical analog of the Carnot cycle constructed based on the structural similarity/dissimilarity between quantum mechanics and thermodynamics. The other was to find a new case in which the Clausius inequality may be challenged, by describing thermodynamic processes in terms of non-unitary completely-positive quantum operations.
