Ecotourism: New tool for participatory soil and environmental education.

本研究的目的是发展土壤与环境教育的方法，引入生态旅游。对目前经营的生态旅游进行的严格评价表明，必须继续进一步努力，建立一个简单的故事，其中包含适当的科学信息和哲学信息，以维持社会。我们为全球和地方环境教育开发了两个生态旅游，即在尼日尔的“享受沙漠和了解荒漠化”和在哈萨克斯坦的“咸海消失的地方和留下的东西”，并提供了宣传DVD和指南等辅助工具，帮助人们了解和自学相关问题。根据志愿者监督的参观，我们得出结论，由具有高专业知识的适当口译员操作和指导的参观能够激发参与者对建立可持续社会的更深入思考和进一步行动。

The objective of this study was to develop the method of soil and environmental education introducing ecotourism. Critical evaluation of the currently operated eco-tours revealed that continuous and further effort is necessary for building up a simple story containing appropriate scientific information and philosophical message for sustaining society. We developed two eco-tours for global- and local-environmental education, i.e. "Enjoy desert and learn desertification" in Niger and "Where the Aral Sea was gone and what was left behind" in Kazakhstan, with supplemental tool such as promotion DVD and guidebook for assisting people in understanding and self-learning the relevant issues. Based on the tour monitored by the voluntary participants, we concluded that the tour operated and guided by the appropriate interpreters with high expertise is able to inspire deeper consideration and further actions in the participants for establishing sustainable society.
