Build and validate a novel organ-chip within Queen Mary University's Emulate framework, to recapitulate skeletal muscle. Adopting 3D printing to develop appropriate cell-laden gelatin hydrogels and align fibres withexternal forces, to confirm cell viability within the model using live cell imaging approaches, specifically exploring the impact of different stress environments on cell viability and organisation.
