In addressing its central research problem - how can more men beencouraged to work in adult social care - this project will yield theoreticaland empirical insights relevant to a range of disciplinary interests.Population ageing and concomitant social care pressures are challengesfor Social Policy scholars globally. This project's innovative focus on thepotential of men's role in the social care workforce will provide a criticalintervention to research in UK and internationally seeking sustainablesolutions to these challenges.
