英文摘要
This comparative and interdisciplinary project will explore the ways in which Holocaust memory can be viewed as multidirectional, transmedial and responsive to the local and national conditions of its commemoration. Across the three years of the PhD programme, I propose to examine how public memorials of the Holocaust and Holocaust fiction influence and reflect each other in two specific communities: namely the UK and South Africa.
