This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. This project will examine the pharmacokinetics and metabolism of lamortiine after intravenous (IV) admission of lamotrigine. The results from this study will be used to assess the dosing frequency, alterations in metabolic pathways, changes in total drug concentration, and accumulation of active metabolites.
