英文摘要
This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. The purpose of this study is to perform an independent validation study of a commercially available automatic blood pressure (BP) device, the HEM-780REL with Easy Wrap Cuff. Like many automatic devices commercially available for people to perform self blood pressure measurements, this device has not been independently validated. A standard protocol for performing validation studies of blood pressure devices has been published and will be used to perform this validation study.
