Intra-Ventricular Vector Flow Mapping (IV2FM) is an innovative echographic tool that will allow cardiologists to thoroughly assess the intracardiac blood flow patterns. This novel non invasive method is derived from conventional ultrasound data. The IV2FM tool will allow echographers to visualize, measure and evaluate new quantitative parameters from the blood flow mapping such as velocity vectors, blood flow streamlines, vortices and pressure gradients.
