This request is to purchase state-of-the-art computers and software for our NSERC-funded laboratory, and to pay a technician to install and configure them all. We currently have six NSERC-funded research projects underway, and anticipate beginning six to ten more in the coming four years. These will benefit directly from the new computers, by dramatically improving our ability to collect rigorous and accurate data, increasing our productivity, and ensuring that our laboratory remains a leader in Canada and in the world.
