CISE Research Instrumentation

A Transputer system and workstation is being provided for researchers at the University of Wisconsin for research in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. This equipment is provided under the Instrumentation Grants for Research in Computer and Information Science and Engineering program. The research for which the equipment is to be used will be in the areas of, 1) studies in performance evaluation in parallel processing, 2) simulation of a proposed functional simulation engine, 3) parallel circuit simulation, and 4) parallel test pattern generation and fault simulation.
