The International Association of Hydrological Sciences is calling for the Third Scientific Assembly which is being organized by the American Geophysical Union. The conference will take place in Baltimore, Maryland on May 10-19, 1989. The program consists of a series of workshops, National Committee for the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics sponsored symposia, and joint symposia with other associations. The workshops will include topics such as: methods for precipitation modeling, water resources system analysis, flood frequency analysis, and image processing and geographic information systems.
