Mathematical Sciences and Their Applications Throughout the Curriculum--Project Synergy: A Consortium Linking Engineering, Basic Science, and Social Science with Math

9455970 Hughes-Hallett Faculty from the University of Arizona, Duke University, Harvard University, University of Illinois, Ohio State University, University of Pittsburgh, Utah State University, and Weber State University are working together to establish or strengthen links between mathematics departments and other departments to improve undergraduate course offerings. A three day conference is being conducted to discuss particular needs in each field and what can be done to discuss these needs.
