The in-situ cell should be optimized and operated, and an extension of the cell is planned. At the moment chemical reactions in fluid media can be studied and reaction parameters like temperature, pressure, pH-value, redox potential and conductivity can be simultaneously controlled and the concentration of the species in solution can be identified and determined. Simultaneous in-situ X-ray scattering experiments should be realized by modifying the cell. It is planned to attach a measurement cell to the crystallization cell and to optimize the pump types allowing to perform such experiments. Up to now the tested pumps were not suitable to fully explore the potential of the crystallization cell. Hence different external measurements cells attached to the main cell should be developed and also new pumping concepts. During the first period several working groups of the SPP used the cell and in the second period other project partners should use the cell for investigations of chemical reactions. Moreover the partners can modify the cell by further extensions according to their needs.
