Das Projekt ist eine Studie der zeitgenössischen buddhistisch-christlichen Begegnungen in Thailand. Es will einen Überblick und eine theologische Analyse der gegenwärtigen Situation bieten. Auf der Basis exemplarischer Fallstudien wird das Projekt sowohl Gruppen untersuchen, die Misstrauen und Ablehnung gegenüber der anderen Religion äußern als auch Gruppen, die zur Zusammenarbeit in sozialen Fragen entschlossen sind und religiöse Lehrfragen diskutieren.
