The Industry/University Cooperative Research Center for Power Systems Engineering at Cornell University will study the architecture and design issues involved with implementing a multi-core data-flow processor using asynchronous VLSI and develop software compiling and mapping techniques. This will be accomplished using a case study of an electric power system security constrained optimal power flow simulation that includes transient and voltage security constraints.
