英文摘要
It is the objective of this project to develop the risk assessment for non-linear access paths based on the results of the first project phase. Further factors which influence the risk of damaging sensitive structures will be taken into account. In a first step the process of non-linear access paths will be analyzed evaluated. One aspect that will be examined in detail in the proposed project is the uncertainty of presurgical imaging. It is the object to estimate the uncertainty for different measurement tasks using the phantom developed in the first project phase and to deduce an uncertainty value for a group of measurement tasks. Furthermore, the uncertainty contribution which takes into account the difference between the real measurement task and the calibrated phantom will be examined regarding its validity for different patient groups (e.g. age or size).Besides the uncertainty of imaging, the influence of the drill capsule¿s control on the process uncertainty and therewith on the risk for the patient will be examined. For the experiments the newly developed drill capsule from project TP2 will be used as well as a specimen with calibrated targets. In addition, e.g. the temperature and the uncertainty of the actual drill process will be analyzed. Furthermore, die risk index will be developed for non-linear drill paths and will be used to establish a real-time based risk assessment. As the drilling of non-linear paths needs to be controlled and the position and alignment of the drill is checked regularly, deviations from the planned drill trajectory can be used for assessing the risk of the process.
