ASPIMATT is applying for central funding in project CP. The costs of the central project are central expenses regarding conference travel, workshops, secondments, dissemination, etc.. The importance of these central funds for the scientific success of the ASPIMATT cannot be overstated. Although, mostly self-evident, the entire research program relies strongly on the exchange of ideas, samples, joint workshops and summer schools and especially on the exchange of students via secondments between Germany and Japan, the international visibility of ASPIMATT through travel to conferences and to pursue collaborations.
