英文摘要
For many production companies, schedule reliability is the most important logistic target. In the fundamental research project, a model of schedule reliability has been developed, which allows splitting up the overall lateness into the components lateness from backlog and lateness from sequence deviation.Nevertheless, transferring these results into practical application is challenging:1. Currently, the model is limited to the manufacturing area. In many cases schedule reliability is affected by late supplies, order releases or shipments.2. Without a configuration of manufacturing control that considers the modeling insights, it is not possible to transfer theoretical knowledge into practical advances of schedule reliability.3.The effort for applying the models is too high.Accordingly, the main objectives for the research project are:1. A comprehensive modeling of schedule reliability and lateness from the incoming goods to the shipping department. Firstly, the models are intended to permit a comprehensive analysis. Secondly, they should allow forecasts on how improvements in upstream departments will impact the delivery reliability towards the customers.2. Model oriented configuration of the manufacturing control and implementation in a pilot area to increase the schedule reliability.3. Development of a software prototype to reduce the effort for applying the models. We aim to restrict the input data for the software to production feedback data usually available in producing companies. The research project will be conducted in cooperation with Trumpf Grüsch AG and is structured in seven work packages. We will start with extending the model developed in the fundamental research project to the complete workflow of an order. Therefore, the models will be transferred to the measuring points 'incoming goods', 'order release' and 'shipping'. Afterwards the single models will be coupled. In cooperation with the industrial partner, a proper configuration for the manufacturing control tasks scheduling, order release, sequencing and capacity control will be established and implemented. By developing a software prototype and guidelines, the effort for applying the models will be decreased. Thus, any interested industrial company can benefit from both the insights of the fundamental research project and the extensions of the transfer project.
