The aim of this subproject in the third funding period is to investigate the coupled influence of wall temperature, surface properties, fluid composition and process duration on film evaporation and deposit formation. With the gained knowledge, regime maps and correlations will be derived to provide the relevant influencing variables on spreading and stability of the fluid films as well as on the formation of deposits.
