项目摘要

本研究の目的は、作文の産出過程に焦点をあて、自然言語処理技術を活用し、従来の作文産出後の添削方式と異なった個々の学習者の言語形式への気づきを高める新しいタイプの学習者適応型作文支援システムを開発し、実践的に評価を行うことである。システムには、学習者の言語形式への気づき(Focus on Form) を高める機能の実装により、正しい文法に繰り返し学習させ、文法上の誤りの軽減を図り、教師による添削労力の軽減および学習者の主体的に作文する能力の向上につながることを目標としている。言語形式への気づきは語彙の使い方への気づきと文法項目への気づきに分ける。学習者のライティング能力をレベル分けし、書く前の準備作業段階においても、書く過程においても、さらに教師による添削前の自己修正段階においても、語彙と文法の二つの側面からネイティブ表現に気づかせ、その習得および作文への活用を促す機能を開発する。令和４年度では、昨年度開発したプロトタイプのライティング支援システムをベースに、フレーズ、特に句動詞に焦点を当て、動詞と異なる前置詞、副詞の組み合わせをリーディングの段階でテキストエンハンスメントの手法などを取り入れ、リーディングの際に注意を払わせることにした。システムには、中学校で習得すべき句動詞と大学で習得する句動詞という二つのレベルに分け、リーディング段階で気づかせ、ライティング段階で文章に取り入れる機能を実装した。
