Behaviour under imperfect competition on markets for agricultural goods in economically less developed countries, exemplified with the rubber value chain

拟议项目的重点是在需求方面不完全竞争的情况下分析市场过程。不同规模的经济主体的行为将从理论上建模，然后以印度尼西亚占比省和世界的天然橡胶价值链为例进行实证检验。不同的尺度包括在宏观层面上高度集中的国际贸易(橡胶国际贸易流动的“市场定价”分析)，在中观层面上印度尼西亚占比省橡胶加工业内部的动态(用于分析工厂定价策略的“广义最大熵”方法)，以及在微观层面上小商贩/中间商与占比省工厂互动的多样性(以需求方市场力量为特征的价值链多个层次的博弈论模型)。

The focus of the proposed project is the analysis of market processes in the context of imperfect competition on the demand side. The behaviour of economic agents at various scales will be modelled theoretically, and then tested empirically using the example of the value chain of natural rubber in the Indonesian province Jambi and the world. The different scales include at the macro level the highly concentrated international trade ('Pricing To Market' analysis of international trade flows of rubber), at the meso level the dynamics within the rubber processing industry in the Indonesian province of Jambi ('generalized maximum entropy' approach for analysing the pricing strategies of factories), and at the micro level the diversity of the interactions of small traders/middlemen with factories in the province of Jambi (game theoretical modelling of multiple levels in value chains characterised by demand side market power).
