江戸時代中期の旗本で、和歌・漢詩・俳諧の詠作や教訓本・読本の述作、古典籍・古書画の書写収集と、寡作ながらも多彩な学芸活動を繰り広げた文人、三橋成烈（みつはしなりてる、１７２６～１７９１）の伝記や学芸活動について、以下の通り、調査考証を行った。１．成烈が安永期（１７７２～１７８０）の大坂在番中に江戸在住の親族朋友と交わした往復書簡集『飛檄（ひげき）』（星槎ラボラトリー蔵、原簡の合綴本一冊）、『飛檄随筆（ひげきずいひつ）』（東京国立博物館蔵、転写本一冊。異本に『飛檄帖（ひげきじょう）』、早稲田大学図書館蔵、転写本三冊）の校注に取り組んだ。２．成烈が四十二歳の明和四年（１７６７）に大坂で世に出した、女子向けの教訓本『〈童女／教訓〉松間鄙言（どうじょきょうくんしょうかんひげん）』（半紙本四巻四冊、全十七章を収録）の注釈に補訂を加えた。注釈は『愛知淑徳大学論集―文学部篇―』第四十五巻、同第四十六巻、同四十六巻別冊に分割掲載したもの。３．成烈が五十八歳の天明三年（１７８３）に冷泉家にたてまつった名所和歌集をもとにして成る『駅路名所略（えきろめいしょりゃく）』（慶應義塾大学三田メディアセンター慶應義塾図書館蔵、写本一冊）の校注に取り組んだ。４．成烈関連資料や近世古典学関連資料の調査収集を進めた。
