项目摘要

本研究課題は, 企業が複数の銀行と取引をすることによって、企業活動にどのような影響を及ぼすのか検証することが目的である。2021年度は、「複数の銀行との取引が市場における資金調達コストに与える影響」について研究を行った。銀行との取引関係の有無は、借入金残高のよって判断する。市場における資金調達コストとして流通市場における普通社債のイールド・スプレッド(yield・spread)を用いる。実証分析の結果、取引している銀行数が多い企業ほど高いイールド・スプレッド(yield・spread)を経験しており、特にグローバル金融危機時においてその影響が大きかったことがわかった。このような結果は、多くの銀行と取引していることは社債市場において投資家に否定的に評価されていることを表している。2022年度は、2021年度の分析結果にもとづき、銀行との取引関係を表す2つの変数を作成した。1つ目の変数は、各銀行の借入金残高のデータを用いたハーフィンダール・ハーシュマン指数（Herfindahl-Hirschman Index, HHI）である。この変数の特徴として、メインバンクからの借入が集中していれば, この尺度の数値は大きくなる。反対に、借入を複数の銀行から分散して行えば、この尺度の数値は小さくなる。2つ目の変数は、メインバンクとの取引期間である。取引期間が長い銀行からの借入金が多くなることが予想される。逆に、メインバンクとの取引期間が短い場合、他の銀行からの借入を増やしている可能性が考えられる。取引期間は、株式上場後に当該銀行とどのぐらいの期間取引関係にあるのかで測っている。この2つの変数の作成には、日経NEEDSの「金融機関別借入金」を用いた。

When the bank returns to the market, the period of withdrawal is determined. 2. The amount of money to be borrowed from financial institutions is used in the daily NEEDS.
