项目摘要

本年度は、働き方や生活に関する各種調査結果の分析を基に、副業やテレワークを活用し、ワークライフバランスやウェルビーイングを実現することが可能な地方の良さを活かした働き方を検討し、その可能性や課題を明らかにした。研究成果については、日本都市学会第 69 回大会で発表するとともに、「日本都市学会第 69 回大会パネルディスカッション『グローバル社会における都市の脆弱性と“新常態”の模索』」パネリストとしてニューノーマル時代の新しい働き方について学会員等との意見交換を行い、新たな知見を得た。具体的には、本年度の研究を通して以下の点を明らかにした。①コロナ禍、地方移住への関心の高まりといった、地方を志向した働き方・住まい方の意識変化がみられる。②コロナ禍の働き方で、副業とテレワークの活用拡大がみられるとともに、移住後の仕事といった地方移住に関連する課題への対応策として副業とテレワークの活用可能性を示した。③副業やテレワークを活用し、ワークライフバランスやウェルビーイングの実現に資する地方の良さを活かした次の三つの新しい働き方(・テレワークで都市部での仕事を維持し地方移住、副業を対面勤務やテレワーク勤務、・地方に移住転職、副業を対面勤務やテレワーク勤務、・都市部での居住や仕事を維持、地方での副業を対面勤務やテレワーク勤務)を提示した。④上記三つの働き方について、テレワークや副業の活用によるワークライフバランスやコストカット等のメリットを整理し、地方での生活や就労への不安といった課題の解消に向けた論点を労働者、企業、自治体の視点から提示した。
