项目摘要

医療・福祉におけるコミュニケーションの発達援助には発達検査等で平均的な能力との差異を見る個体能力論的評価軸がある。これに一定の有用性を認める一方で、こうした見方は当事者に「特権集団(Goodman、2019)」から周縁化された〈障害〉のストーリーを構造的に強いる可能性がある。本研究では音声言語や社会的コミュニケーションに関する障害の当事者性を有する対人援助職、特に言語聴覚士(ST)の体験を元にこの課題について検討する。これまでの研究で、ADHD特性があるSTのライフヒストリーの語りにおいては周囲の人間の「当たり前の」コミュニケーションにおける規範そのものが1つの障壁だったこと、そのために常に抑圧的にならざるを得なかったことが示唆された(工藤、2021)。また。吃音があるSTの語りから、SCATによる分析過程で見えてきたことは「配慮の前提としてのカミングアウト」である。非当事者は発話でコミュニケーションをする上での特権性を持っており自身の発話について「説明」する必要はないが、吃音者には特に配慮においてその説明が求められるのである。また<ずれているのはマイノリティである自分>かも知れない、という<自分に対する確信の持てなさ>を抱えていることが見えてきた。これまでの研究過程で、特権集団の中にあっての<障害>の当事者はスティグマの隠蔽（Goffman, 1963）という戦略を取っている可能性があり、それが更なる<障害>となっている可能性が示唆された。本研究では引き続き、インタビュー法を用いて「援助者」としての文脈と「当事者」としての文脈の2つの視点を生きるSTに焦点を当て、コミュニケーションにおける〈障害〉の生成と構造的な問題、一旦内面化された〈障害〉の脱学習過程をパーソナル・リカバリー論を援用し、考察していく。現在、構音障害当事者のSTへのインタビューデータを分析中である。
