本研究は、日仏の予防キャリア問題教育に関する教科間の連携動向を分析し、カリキュラム開発を行うことを目的としている。今年度は、フランスの予防キャリア問題教育の中心である「予防・健康・環境(PSE)」科のカリキュラム構造と、他教科との関連に関する記述内容等を分析した。PSEの教科内容は、A自己の健康資本に責任を持つ個人、B自己の環境で責任ある行動を取る個人、C職場環境での予防を担う個人、の3大テーマを軸にしたモジュールで構成されている。予防キャリア問題教育に関する内容は、主にテーマCに位置付けられており、モジュールC1:「労働の保健衛生と安全」という課題、2:職業リスク予防の基礎知識、3:予防の担い手、4:職場での支援と救助、5:職業リスク分析、6:専門分野に固有のリスクの分析、7:労働衛生の管理、8:労働災害及び業務上疾病の申請と補償、9:心理社会的リスク、10:身体活動に起因するリスク、11:作業場面の分析、12：職場における処遇の平等、の12単元から構成されている。各モジュールは、「学習目標」と「関連する重要な概念」「活動・学習媒体」を三位一体で提示するマトリクスとなっており、その上部には、コレージュの生命と地球の科学、テクノロジー、物理・化学、道徳・公民、体育ですでに取り上げた概念が明記され、その理由を“生徒がすでに知っていることを新たな概念の習得に役立てられるようにするためである”、としている。以上の分析結果から、PSEの各モジュールでは、垂直的な既習概念等を活用しながら、水平的な教科横断型の総合学習を深めることが企図されており、演繹的な学習と実習や企業研修等での帰納的な学習を結び付け、それらを往還しながら課題解決と予防を図ることに総合できる螺旋的なカリキュラムが創られている点は、日本のキャリア教育カリキュラムの再構築にとって重要な示唆であるといえる。
