２年目となる2022年度は昨年度から引き続き、特定不正行為のみならずQRP（好ましくない研究行為）を含め、「研究者の職場環境や競争環境の健全性を失わせる原因となり得る行動」を大学で教育研究に従事する研究者自身が認識し、プロフェッショナルとして適切に教育研究活動を遂行する為のスキルやノウハウがどのように成立するかという視点に立ち、インタビュー調査の実施に向けた対象者の選定と質問事項の検討を行った。昨年度に実施した予備調査では、基礎生命科学分野で大学教員として活動する研究者においては、研究者や教員としてのスキルに限らず、自らの所属する分野における「普通」とは何で、自らの行動がそれと比較してどうか、といった客観的な認識を明確に持っていないと考えられる例が散見された。また、医学分野の研究者においても、医師として期待されるふるまいについての認識は明確である一方で、研究者や教育者としてのスキルや、その他者との比較という点については、やはり明確に言葉として表現する機会が極めて少ない傾向が見られた。一方、これらの傾向は、それぞれの予備調査対象者のキャリアパスの特性に依存する可能性も考えられたため、今後の本調査（対面ヒアリングによるインタビュー調査）において想定する質問項目に、自らのキャリアへの意識と実際の経緯を含め、「研究者としての自意識」の形成過程を推定する為の項目を追加すべく、質問事項の検討を行った。また、分析対象分野において客観的に見て「有力」とされると推定される研究者への本調査としてのヒアリングは、調査対象者を絞り込む理由（根拠）として論文の共著関係に関するネットワーク分析の手法を見直し、調査対象者を再検討した上で実施することとした。
