项目摘要

認知症高齢者の生活する室内の環境と、BPSDをはじめとする行動・心理症状との関連を明らかとすることを目的に研究を行なった。介護施設において１年間の環境実測と、定期的な認知症高齢者のBPSDアセスメント・行動や生理心理調査を行ない、室内の環境要因が認知症高齢者のBPSDに与える影響を定量化する。これにより今後のBPSDに対する環境的アプローチ手法の基礎的データとする。本年度は、研究に先立って対象となる高齢者施設との研究契約、および、学内での倫理審査委員会に研究計画を諮った。対象施設と十分に連携をとりながら協力者の選定と依頼を行なった。その後、協力者とその保護者に対する同意など適切な諸手続きを行なった。その上でコロナの状況を勘案しながら、高齢者施設のプランの確認と実測位置の検討、計測機器の手配と予備的実測、対象施設への設置を実施した。その後、冬季より環境実測調査と生理計測を開始した。今後、被験者の生活行動・症状の観察記録（テキストデータ）の分析を行う予定がある。本研究に先立って、これまでに施設で記録されてきた生活行動・症状の観察記録（テキストデータ）を使って、分析手法の検討を始めている。外部気温の季節変動と連動して、室内の環境状態が変化し、それが心理・行動に影響することが仮説として挙げられる。現在は、上記のデータの回収を行なっており、集まるのを待っているところであるが、季節変動と自律神経系の関連に関する既往論文調査などを並行して行なった。冬季のデータやテキスト分析の予備的検討については、適宜学会などで発表をおこなった。
