项目摘要

本研究は、「他者との距離を保つ」状況下で、人々がどのように共同体感覚を構築・再構築している・してきたかを、臨床的・人文社会学的観点から共時的・通時的分析を行うものである。臨床の研究では、認知症の当事者とその家族を対象に調査分析を行った。その結果、認知症の人にしばしば生じる行動・心理症状がパンデミック後に増悪し中期的にも維持していた。認知症の人はサービス利用（フォーマルケア）、家族は家族会などのインフォーマルケアを受け、その中で共同体感覚を維持している。2022年度から次第にサービス利用や家族会等も再開されているため、長期的な傾向を調べる。社会学の研究では、シチズン・サイエンスに関する研究の対象を「郵便趣味（郵趣）」に限定した。古典的シチズン・サイエンスである「郵趣」という「関心の共同体」が、どのように展開されてきたのか、また現在展開されているのかを定性的調査によって明らかにした。今年度は国内の郵趣家4名へのインタビュー調査、及び郵趣家の集まる研究会に参加してフィールドワークを行った。郵趣の中心である切手の流通状況はデジタル・デバイスの影響を強く受けているものの、郵趣活動自体は、野外観測等を必要としないことから、遠隔会議による活動が可能であり、コロナ禍においても「関心の共同体」を大きな変化なく維持できている様子を伺うことができた。文学の研究では、昨年度から整理を行なってきた国内外の文献をもとに、具体的なテクスト分析を行なった。一見すると現実から遠い距離にあると思われがちな、疫病を主題としたSF作品を分析することで、パンデミックがどのような想像力を喚起し、人と人の物理的・精神的な距離にどのような変化を迫っているのかを考察した。とりわけ、コロナ禍における他者との距離の変化を象徴する「食」のあり方に着目し、欧米を中心としたヴィーガニズムの隆盛など新しい現象の意味を考察した。
