本研究の目的は，口腔保健における根拠に基づく政策立案（Evidence Based Policy Making：EBPM）を効果的・効率的に推進するため，全国市区町村を対象として行政専門職の確保・育成と歯科保健事業に対するEBPMとの関係を明らかにすることである。つまり，行政歯科医師・歯科衛生士の採用・能力開発や行政保健師の歯科保健に関する能力開発・交流によって，EBPMがどの程度まで推進され，政策効果がどの程度まで得られるのかを解明する。そして，口腔の健康格差の縮小に寄与する行政歯科専門職の採用・登用や育成支援の学術的基盤を目指す。令和4年度は，令和3年度の延長として，令和元年度（コロナ禍直前）の地域保健・健康増進事業報告より得られた全国1,741市区町村の妊産婦歯科健診と歯周疾患検診の実施有無とカテゴリ化した人口総数，大卒者割合，第3次産業従事者割合，1人当たり課税対象所得，財政力指数，1万人当たり歯科医師数，そして常勤の行政歯科専門職の有無との関連について，ロジスティック回帰モデルによって分析した。その結果，人口が5万人以上の自治体，財政力指数が0.5以上の自治体，そして行政歯科専門職が常勤する自治体は有意に健診・検診を実施していた（P<0.001）。人口規模や経済・行政基盤の小さい地方の町村においても，行政歯科医師・歯科衛生士の確保・育成によって歯科保健事業が奏功する可能性が示唆された。

The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship between EBPM and oral health care in urban and rural areas across the country. The adoption, capacity development, and communication of dental care professionals and administrative dentists, EBPM, and policy outcomes are discussed. In addition, the reduction of oral health standards is related to the adoption, registration and development of academic foundations in the administrative dentistry department.
