【目的と意義】本邦のがん対策推進基本計画において、15歳から39歳の思春期・若年成人（adolescent and young adult; 以下AYA）世代のがん医療の充実は課題の一つであるが、全がん患者の中で、この世代の占める割合が少ないため、現状の把握は十分にできておらず、具体的な支援策は乏しい。本研究では、AYA世代がん患者の情報提供の在り方と支援へのニーズを明らかにし、関連要因を検討する事を目的としており、得られた結果は、AYA世代の患者と医療者のコミュニケーションやAYA世代のがん対策を促進する基礎的なデータとなることが期待される。【方法】15歳から29歳の間に血液腫瘍の診断を受けた40歳未満の者を対象とし、Webを用いたアンケート調査を行った。アンケートの内容は、悪い知らせに関する情報提供の在り方、支援へのニーズ、支援に関するアンメットニーズ、及び、関連因子の抽出のため、患者背景（年齢、性別、血液腫瘍の種類、診断からの期間、再発・転移の有無、抗がん剤治療の経験、身体状態（ECOG Performance Status）、ソーシャル・サポート、QOL、抑うつ、社会的背景（婚姻状況、同居家族の有無、子どもの有無、介護が必要な親の有無、就業・就学状況、教育経験、世帯年収状況））が含まれた。【進捗状況】基準適格者からの90回答を解析した。“AYA世代がん患者が望む情報提供の在り方”について、先行研究の“一般成人がん患者が望む情報提供の在り方”と差異がある事、“AYA世代の血液腫瘍患者の支援に関するアンメットニーズと関連因子”について、“若年成人がん患者におけるアンメットニーズ”と異なる点がある事を示唆する結果を得ており、一部は既に発表、今後、誌上発表、医療者、患者さんに向けて冊子にまとめる準備をしている。
